Artistic Director:  Denise Stookesberry

Denise Stookesberry has been directing the EP Chorale since 2016.  She received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at Washington University in St. Louis where she also taught on the voice faculty.   She has been an active choral director for over 30 years working with high school choirs, adult choirs, church choirs, and professional choirs.  She was a section leader for many years with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, a member of the St. Louis Chamber Singers, and was a featured soloist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.  She has also performed operatic roles with The Ohio Light Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Union Avenue Opera, and  Pensacola Opera among others. 

Denise has directed successful musical productions with the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies, including "Spitfire Grill", "Disenchanted", and "Daddy Long Legs".  She is an active soloist in Estes and maintains a private voice studio.

Accompanist:  Michelle Gergen-Wisner

Michelle Gergen-Wisner (accompanist extraordinaire!) is an accomplished pianist in Estes.  In addition to accompanying the Estes Park Chorale, Michelle also serves as the rehearsal accompanist for the Estes Valley Chamber Singers and is the organist at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church and Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.  Michelle has participated as the accompanist for many of the Fine Arts Guild musical productions and for other musicians in town.  She received her BA in Music and Languages from Colorado Women's College.  She has also had a long career as a postal employee at the Estes Park Post Office.
